CHAMBER TESTS
The air supply and exhaust system comprises of a centrifugal fan and associated ducting and controls, to create positive and negative static pressure differentials. It provides a constant flow of air at the specified pressure for the period required by the tests.
HOSE WATER TEST
Site Hose Tests involves spraying water in a prescribed way at the joints in a system as a quick and easy check on whether the system is vulnerable to leakage.
IMPACT TEST
The soft body impactor comprises of a canvas sphero-conical bag, 400mm in diameter, filled with 3mm diameter glass spheres, with a total mass of approximately 50kg, suspended from a cord.
ADHESION TESTS
The adhesion tester is used to accurately measure the strength of bond between the coating and substrate / sample.
LOAD TESTS
Hydraulic cylinders with pumps and connected pressure gauge are used to apply the loads.
